Centro Paroquial - Soalhães
O edifício resulta do Programa pedido e apresentado pela Fábrica da Igreja Paroquial de Soalhães, cujo desenvolvimento teve em linha de conta a interligação funcional entre os vários edifícios envolventes e a sua relação com o terreno, como com o espaço exterior.
Este edifício desenvolve-se frontalmente ao adro da Igreja, encastrando-se no terreno e define dois espaços: interno e externo de utilização claramente diferenciada. Um, mais associado a um uso da comunidade em geral, e outro claramente associado às atividades litúrgicas específicas da catequese.
Não existindo uma relação urbana evidente no terreno, mas apenas contactos com as pré-existências, tentou-se deste modo privilegiar a relação estabelecida entre os vários edifícios de forma a tornar coesa e evidente a sua inserção no terreno. Neste sentido, o “corpo” principal do Complexo é definido pelo edifício A/B (Auditório e Catequese) do Complexo Paroquial posicionado frontalmente ao adro da Igreja
No Piso 0, desenvolve-se a função social do equipamento, constituída por vários espaços: o átrio, a zona de convívio, o bar e o Auditório para 240 pessoas que é ampliável até 300 pessoas e sanitários.
No Piso 1, com uma área de construção de 700.00m2 e com uma característica de funcionamento autónomo, foram colocadas as instalações para o ensino da Catequese 1 sala de reunião litúrgica e 4 salas de catequese, 1 sala museu, 3 salas de administração e sanitários.
A área de total de implantação proposta para o edifício é de 1060.00m2
A criação de novos acessos entre o edifício proposto reestrutura a potencia e ligação ao adro da Igreja.
Esta intenção justifica-se pela necessidade de conferir ao espaço público existente um carácter urbano que reafirme a importância e um enquadramento apropriado a esta área cívica e religiosa.
Prevê-se a construção de paredes exteriores estruturais e lajes em betão armado. As paredes exteriores simples, de betão com isolamento térmico pelo exterior, rebocado e pintado, e nas situações de embasamento serão duplas de betão e granito.
Interiormente, os acabamentos serão em estuque nas paredes e tetos, mármores ou revestimentos cerâmicos nas zonas de água, e madeira ou mármore nos restantes pavimentos.
The building is the result of the program requested and presented by the Parish Church Plant of Soalhães, whose development took into account the functional interconnection between the various surrounding buildings and their relationship with the land, as with outer space.
This building develops frontally to the churchyard, embedding itself in the ground and defines two spaces: internal and external of use clearly differentiated. One, more associated with community use in general, and another clearly associated with specific liturgical activities of catechesis.
In the absence of an obvious urban relationship on the ground, but only contacts with the pre-existences, this has tried to privilege the relationship established between the various buildings in order to make their insertion on the ground cohesive and evident. In this sense, the main "body" of the Complex is defined by the A / B (Auditorium and Catechism) building of the Parish Complex positioned frontally to the churchyard
In Floor 0, the social function of the equipment is developed, consisting of several spaces: the atrium, the social area, the bar and the Auditorium for 240 people that can be expanded up to 300 people and toilets.
On floor 1, with a building area of 700.00m2 and with an autonomous functioning characteristic, the facilities for the teaching of the Catechesis were placed 1 liturgical meeting room and 4 catechetical rooms, 1 museum room, 3 administration rooms and toilets.

The creation of new accesses between the proposed buildings restructures the power and connection to the churchyard.
This intention is justified by the need to confer on the existing public space an urban character that reaffirms the importance and an appropriate framework for this civic and religious area.
It is planned to construct structural external walls and reinforced concrete slabs. The single exterior walls, of concrete with thermal insulation by the exterior, towed and painted, and in the situations of foundation will be double of concrete and granite.
Inside, the finishes will be stuccoed in the walls and ceilings, marbles or ceramic tiles in the water zones, and wood or marble on the remaining floors.
