A habitação proposta está condicionada pelas realidades de gestão, das construções da agressão sucessiva em banda, da trama característica dos limites do perímetro urbano de Matosinhos em contacto com o Porto.
No final o edifício é suficiente que se sustente nas paredes medianeiras de contacto com as outras construções
A proposta busca a visualidade plena dos limites do perímetro de construção, eliminando os obstáculos, criando um "espaço contínuo" entre os quatro andares e o início e o final da trama.
O uso de madeira, um material leve na fachada, procura mais a abertura e transparência da casa ao nível do chão de terracota do que a sua natureza material per se.
A tampa respeita o alinhamento vizinho mas introduzem-se pátios-solares que resolvem tanto a iluminação natural como a habitabilidade do espaço de carácter polivalente associado aos quartos.
O tradicional meio-fio - fontes - é aproveitado para uma visão moderna do uso da água.
The proposed housing is conditioned by the realities of compositional organization, the construction of housing in continuous unites and the characteristic plot of the limits of the urban perimeter of Matosinhos in contact with Porto.
